Here's a preview at my upcoming Captain America project through Marvel comics. It's called "Captain America: The Chosen" and it's a stand alone 6 issue series. Mitchell Breitweiser did the lines and I did the colors.
As someone who thinks that Captain America is one of the best heroes of all time, I just wanted to thank you for takin the time to make this. It's not only well draw, but I personally find it inspirational as well. Again, thank you

I think this is a truly stunning piece of work. First off, the entire scene looks so surreal. I've seen people draw super heroes and neglect that their skin-tight fabric is still fabric - no fold whatsoever. But I see some wonderful fabricated folds here. Secondly, the helmet made me feel fuzzy and warm inside with the picture of the kid. And finally, the entire color scheme with muted hues and the bright spotlight truly made a rough, hard-working atmosphere that seem to pale in comparison to the Cap's friendly expression. Simply a splendid piece of work.
ahh this is amazing! you use light wonderfully to bring out the shapes and bring focus to teh character. I especially like the helmet he's holding. It's really detailed and realistic the coloring style is just amazing, and i'm really enjoying this work ^^ you did an amazing job! i have to fav this, the color is just so stunning and the lineart is beautiful too! A+++
Very cool. It reminds me of Cassaday's CA. Best of luck with your project, but I am not very happy with Marvel "milking" this thing with all of the tie-ins they're doing. I did like the one Fallen Son issue (#3, I think...my LCS slipped it into my box unbeknownst to me) but I'd rather they move on with the story and not delay the regular title just so that they can prep to push new Cap projects on those of us who want to read the story. But, I know. It's business. And it creates work for fine artists like yourselves. And I do see that as a good thing. My wallet, however, will tell me that I can't buy these books.
Well this series was planned and created before they decided to kill him off. It's taken us about 2 years to complete it. It has nothing to do with any of the other Cap series. It's completely stand alone. This book isn't effecting any of the other stories nor does it have anything to do with the current storyline.
Thanks for explaining. I didn't mean to put down your work or the project, it's just a personal beef I have with companies that do things like this sometimes. But the art looks great and Cap is one of my favorite Marvel characters, so I will definitely be on the lookout for this one.
